(Three) Levels of Questions

What is it?

The Three Levels of Questions instructional strategy can support practitioners in providing students with an opportunity to engage with a text in increasingly complex ways. This resource provides an overview of the strategy and clear steps to support implementation. Note: modification to the complexity of the text and language used may allow for use in elementary grades. Additional modifications such as the practitioners reading the text orally and prompting students to engage with each type of question in a discussion may allow for this activity to target listening comprehension components through the use of oral text.
