In this activity students produce the correct plural for a given word and use it in a sentence. For example, if the student selects a picture of more than one mouse, they would say “mice” and use it in a sentence (e.g., The mice ate cheese).
The Qualitative Reading Inventory (Seventh Edition) (QRI-7) assesses students’ literacy skills through graded word lists, leveled-passages, and explicit and implicit questions following oral and silent reading.
