What is it?
In this activity, students make predictions before listening to a text and record what they found after listening to a text. This activity can be modified so students are only engaging with oral text and respond to prompts through discussion.

shift the burden of decoding/encoding onto the educator (i.e., the educator should read/write instead of the student(s)).
